Terms and conditions

Shipcode terms of use: account, content, payments, and responsibilities.

Last updated: May 31, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Shipcode (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Shipcode on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. The service

Shipcode provides educational content, guided projects, and tools to learn systems programming by building real software.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Service features. When reasonable, we will provide advance notice.

3. Account and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account and for protecting your credentials.

You must be at least 16 years old or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to consent to data processing. If you are a minor, you need authorization from your legal guardian.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put other users or the Service at risk.

4. Permitted use

You agree not to:

  • Share complete project solutions in a way that harms others' learning experience.
  • Automate access to the Service abusively (scraping, unauthorized bots, etc.).
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or other accounts.
  • Upload malware, illegal content, or material that infringes third-party rights.
  • Resell or redistribute Service content without written permission.

5. Content and intellectual property

Shipcode material (texts, guides, tests, brand, and design) belongs to us or we are licensed to use it. You do not acquire rights to that material except as expressly stated.

You retain rights to the code you write in your projects. By submitting feedback or voluntary contributions, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use them and improve the Service.

6. Paid plans

Paid plans, prices, and benefits are described on the pricing page. Applicable taxes will be added according to current law.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle. You can cancel from your account; Pro access continues until the end of the billed period.

Refunds are handled according to applicable law and our commercial policy published at the time of purchase.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or uninterrupted availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Shipcode is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or lost profits arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under consumer protection law in your country.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your place of residence.
